Navy Hill Shirt
For this shirt, I chose a ramie (70%) and cotton (30%) fabric. This mixture gives the person wearing the shirt a strong feeling of great solidity and gentle freshness. It is the ramie (8 times stronger than cotton) which provides robustness and it is the airy weave (in seersucker) which provides freshness.
But not just freshness. Seersucker is also responsible for the embossed texture of the fabric, which gives the shirt its originality and beautiful fit. So much so that you can also wear it as a pretty summer overshirt.

Intro
FROM RAMIE TO SEERSUCKER
With this shirt you won't risk suffering from the heat thanks to the cooling properties of ramie and the clever seersucker weave.
Fresh and robust fabric
LA RAMIE
IN PERPETUAL RENEWAL
Ramie is a plant from the nettle family. But it is not stinging, it does not sting. The ramie stem measures 2 to 4 meters, its fibers are therefore very long, which is a guarantee of strength for the fabrics woven with them.
Furthermore, the plant is considered particularly ecological and renewable because its growth is very rapid: we make 6 harvests per year.
THE CLASSIC SEERSUCKER
IDEAL FOR SUMMER
Seersuckers is made by alternately weaving the fabric with tight threads then loose threads. We thus obtain a succession of strips of smooth fabric when they have been woven with taut threads and embossed strips, with slight excess thickness, when they have been woven with loose threads.
THE INGENIOSITY OF WEAVING
OUR SEERSUKER
In the fabric of the Colline shirt, the parts woven with loose threads appear in the form of a grid of small bumps. These are these little embossed bumps which, when it is hot, prevent the fabric from sticking to the skin, and which allow a little fresh air to pass through. The shirt is thus widely ventilated .
The fabric
A VERY WORKED TEXTURE
Furthermore, seersucker gives the fabric a very worked texture and small weaving irregularities accentuate this often highly sought-after artisanal “handmade” character.
COLORS
NAVY, OCHER & WHITE
By its colors, this Colline shirt is connoted by summer and Provence. Red ocher, a strong and original color, recalls the lands and houses of the villages of Lubéron, around Roussillon. The navy shirt of course evokes the Mediterranean, and the white the rocks of its coasts. Little extra: the resin buttons have a very original design.
